Aisling Bea
Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most well-known comic. She has been on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan, is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, after appearing as a guest on a variety of Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she has become a fixture. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant on the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, she is the mother of one sister named Sinead. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in 2012. The surname she uses is Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a vet for horses that committed suicide when she was just three years old. She did not learn the cause for her father's death until thirteen years later. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up within the home of Helen Moloney who was a teacher and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. They were both passionate about horses, races and racing. Bea was initially a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her true passion was performing and not racing.
