Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21, 1983) is an acclaimed American actress. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington in Ohio, left high school, and relocating in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. Although she was struggling financially in 2001, her debut came as Rachel's Room's principal character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the lead actor in Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all of the ensemble. Grace, who had worked with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, wanted to move into film. The actress starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. Her role was reprised in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost including the series finale. The actress was featured in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith an actress in a group and as a muse to the stars, who catches the attention of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in the films of her father as an adolescent. Along with her brother, she also appeared on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). The year 2002 saw her starred as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. She also appeared on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her leading performances in the romantic erotic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and the thriller Sherrybaby (2006) each of which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006, including World Trade Center she received wider recognition for playing Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). In the wake of her performance that was a hit as a single mother on the screen in Crazy Heart (2009), she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Following that she appeared in comedy and dramas: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Her other roles include a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) and a musician in Frank (2014) as well as The title role in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal began her professional career as a director, screenwriter and script writer. she wrote and directed her psychological horror film The Lost Daughter. The film won Best Screenplay at the Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for The Academy Award. Academy Award.
